Volunteer at Musicoz or at The Musicoz Awards

Musicoz is a not for profit organisation supporting and recognising the amazing aray of musicians and artists in Australia.  To do this we rely on volunteers across many aspects of the organisation.  If you would like to make a difference to the music culture and community in Australia, plus have some great fun with invaluable experience, get in touch. 

General Volunteering

Currently we are looking for a Sydney based Graphic designer for 2 hours per week.  We are also looking for people that can push communication into the various music genres in Australia so that the artists know about Musicoz, the Awards, but also our distribution services allowing Independant artists get onto BigPond and iTuness worldwide.

National Musicoz Awards

Our biggest event The National Musicoz Awards, are simply one of the most exciting live events on the Aussie music calendar. If you've been wanting to gain invaluable experience on a high level live event, this is your chance to work alongside the best in the business and add a major event to your resume.

Our awards event is actually staged across 2 days, late November usually. Allowing for TV rehearsals, lighting rehearsals and sound checks and rehearsals etc. There are many voluteer positions available and it's a hugely exciting event to be involved in . If you are interested in applying for a volunteer position at this year's awards, sinmply read the code of conduct and terms of agreement and then fill out and submit the form below. Volunteering also entitles you to free access to the all night industry after party.

The biggest event of it's kind in the world, the National Musicoz Awards recognises the best independent and unsigned music creators each year and gives them development opportunities to further their career.

Known in the media as the unsigned ARIAs, the Musicoz Awards has grown a strong reputation as one of the coolest live events on the music calendar. Each year we help to train future industry opperators by providing high level work experience and volunteer program. Code of Conduct

• As a Musicoz Volunteer, I will contribute to the success of the event by:
• Exibiting at all times a positive and friendly approach
• Assisting others to the best of my ability
• Respecting all others at the event regardless of race, religion, colour or age
• Following OH&S pracices and policies
• Ensuring I am not under the influence of drugs and alcohol while volunteering

Terms of Agreement

• I acknowledge that this is unpaid work
• I agree to abide by the code of conduct
• I agree to carry out my volunteer tasks according to the rostered hours
• I agree to contact the volunteer Co-ordinator as early as possible if circumstances prevent my commencing a shift
• If I breach the code of conduct, I acknowledge I may be relieved of my duties and escorted from the site. Such conduct may also result in denial of future volunteer applications.
