Described as being somewhere between Muse, Silverchair and Incubus, Sender’s tight and intense brand of rock flaunts this dynamic quartet’s flair for writing accessible, emotive songs despite being just out of their teens.
High school mates with rock’n’roll in the soul, the band in its various incarnations worked their way through dozens of gigs and band competitions before winning the final of the 1999 Rock Eisteddford.

The band soon ventured into Birdland studios in Melbourne to record some of the tunes from their now vast catalogue with producer Lindsay Gravina (the Living End, Magic Dirt). The songs, mixed by Rick Will (Incubus, Ben Harper) and Roger Summers (Alanis Morisette, Rage Against the Machine, K.D Lang), resulted in their superb 5-track debut EP.
