Porcelain

Originally from Wollongong, Porcelain has been based in Los Angeles for the last 4 years. Porcelain returned to Aussie shores to play and present at the 2007 Musicoz  Awards.   This band cut their teeth on the competitive streets of L.A, namely Sunset Strip venues, and their dynamic live show is testament to their   hard work since venturing abroad. The SONAR show will be their only show before the band returns to L.A in preparation for their 2008 debut 'Freedom & Release' on Universal/Motown in the U.S. and an Australian release will follow. Working with Serban Ghenea (Dave Matthews, Staind, Justin Timberlake) and Mike Green (Paramore, Plain White T's) on their album, and being represented by innovative management JT Entertainment, and powerhouse agent David Zedeck (C.A.A) has put Porcelain in a prime position to do   Australia proud with thier debut release. Porcelain will be joined by a swag of winners from the 2007 Musicoz Awards.

Amanda Baker

It has turned out to be a winning year for this accomplished songstress and performer.  She also just won the “Best Music Video” Award at the October 2007 Digifestival in Florence, Italy, for her “Addictions” music video directed by her brother, award-winning cinematographer, Denson Baker ACS.
Digifestival Jury Member, Roli Mosimann said, “Amanda Baker impressed me most with her abilities and rare talent of transporting the emotional content of her music straight to the heart, without filters or distractions.  She is not just singing a great song about a difficult subject, she is telling a story and lets you feel and participate in what it all means to her in a way only great musicians can do.  Beware!  A truly addictive voice.”
Independent singer/songwriter Amanda Baker has been described as a “diva” due to her soulful vocal style and command of the stage.  Her trademark phrase “I’m not here to be a princess, I’m here to be the Queen” taken from her new single “The Queen”, is the slogan on her award-winning T-shirts.   Amanda’s debut album, “Superstitious Woman”, released in 2007, features a range of strong blues, soul and gospel style songs written straight from her heart which tell stories about issues important to her like world violence, self-identity, drug addiction, love of music and life.
