The 2010 National Musicoz Awards congratulate their ARIA nominee brethren and welcome new media partners.
With this year's ARIA nominations released, Musicoz is excited and proud to announce that we have three nominations from previous Musicoz Award recipients. Starting with the Breakthrough Artist Single - Bluejuice with "Broken Leg", then in the Best Country Album category we have Felicity Urquhart with "Landing Lights" and to round out the diversity for Musicoz artists, Fiona Joy Hawkins is a nominee in the Best World Music Album with "Blue Dream". These nominations follow on from Musicoz winners Bliss 'n Eso who took out the Best Urban Album in 2008 with "Flying Colours".
All of the above artists and many more have been previously recognised and developed by coming through the Musicoz system.
Musicoz is also very excited to announce a new partnership with The Music Network. The Music Network is now a presenting media partner alongside MTV, NOVA, Bigpond Music and Rova. In addition they will also be presenting The Music Network Artist of the year Award.
"Our Artist of the Year Award is our biggest and most prestigious award, and teaming up with the coolest and most important music industry publication around, The Music Network, is a really good fit for us", says Musicoz founder Pat Maloney.
Jade Harley, Managing Editor of The Music Network commented, "Musicoz is responsible for the discovery and nurturing of numerous established artists including Bluejuice and Bliss 'n Eso and we wholeheartedly support their commitment to Australian talent. We are thrilled to be presenting the Artist Of The Year Award and wish all entrants the best of luck".
Entries are now open for the 2010 National Musicoz Awards, Australia's Truly Independent Awards for independent and unsigned Artists. Musicoz gives independent artists, managers and labels vital recognition, confidence, exposure and opportunity on their path to success.
But you better hurry as entries close on November 30th.
