Musicoz Call For Entries

In Just a few short years The Musicoz Awards have become the equivalent of The ARIA's to Australia's ever growing Independent, Unsigned and Emerging singer/songwriters, musicians, composers and performers.

Over a diverse range of genres which include Pop, Rock, Metal/Hardcore, Alternative, Acoustic/Singer-Songwriter, Urban, Dance/Electronica, Jazz/Classical, Blues/Roots, Country, World/Folk, International, Christian/Spiritual, Schoolies, Live, Instrumental, Video and Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander, the Musicoz Judges which this year include Michael Taylor (Universal/Island), Jonathon Moran (Sunday Telegraph), Willy MacAlister (Nova) and Matthew Capper (Warner/Chappell), choose the best of approximately 5000 entries along with peer voted awards, which culminates in the National Awards Event in Sydney slated for this December.

Previous winners have included Borne, Super Massive, Porcelain, Bliss'n'Eso, Sick Puppies, Blue King Brown, Jonah's Road and the Sunpilots.

With sponsors such as Street Press Australia, Channel V and Nova just to name a few and prizes including airplay on the national Nova radio network, Studio Recording Time, Cd Manufacture and distribution, Media Servicing and awesome prizes from Roland, Rode, Maton and Turramurra Music there is no excuse for every eligible Artist in the country to submit their best work ASAP.
