An important announcement for those many aspiring and emerging artists out there in independent original music land -

 "The Musicoz Submission Deadline for the prestigious 2008 awards has been extended by another 2 weeks!! -" to September 30th

 So for all of those of you who just couldn’t quite get it together by the original date, there is hope for you yet.

Renowned for the hardcore prize opportunities that artists receive, Musicoz has provided even more this year including: performing at this year’s Peats Ridge Festival on the Musicoz Stage, All finalists will be featured on Bigpond Music, A music video from Nice Bike Entertainment, an artist development and styling package valued at $10,000 from Black Dove Media, 500 Bandtag cards from Bandtag.com.au as well as many other distribution, management and publishing opportunities

There are 18 genres to enter including: Pop, Rock, Metal/Hardcore, Alternative, Acoustic/Singer-Songwriter, Urban, Dance/Electronica, Jazz/Classical, Blues/Roots, Country, World/Folk, International, Christian/Spiritual, Schoolies, Live, Instrumental, Video and Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander, and Judges including Mark Neilson (The Drum Media), Brett Nossiter (Channel [V], Michael Parisi (Warner Music), and Matt O’Connor (The A&R Department),   plus an easy online or mail submission process make sure you submit your best song(s) ASAP. 

The Musicoz TV series will soon be launching nationally on Foxtel’s Aurora Channel and we’ll be featuring all of our finalists throughout the series.
