Recording package and A&R Mentorship with Island Records AustraliaThis year Musicoz is excited to announce that we are partnering up with Island Records Australia to provide a fantastic opportunity to one of our finalists from this year's awards.This prize includes 4 x days recording time as well as an A&R mentorship with Michael Taylor (Head of Island Records) during the recording process. The recording studio used, will be mutually decided between Island Records and the winning artist and if an agreement can't be reached, final studio choice is with Island. This prize must be used within 6 months of winning the award. Island Records Australiawas launched in 2007 by Universal Music Australia. The new label is headed by Michael Taylor, who comes to Universal Music from running City and State Music, his own management and consulting company in New York, associated with such artists as Delta Goodrem and the McClymonts Sisters. Earlier, Taylor held senior A&R positions at Epic Records U.S., Sony Music Australia and Maverick Records, working with artists including Delta, Something for Kate, CeCe Winans, Killing Heidi and Paulini.
